Our Story

Unryo was founded on the belief that the industry was shifting too quickly toward “send everything to the cloud” or rigid "all-in-one" observability platforms. We believe that many organizations—especially large enterprises—still depend on a rich ecosystem of best-of-breed tools, deployed across on-premise and cloud environments.

These organizations don’t want to duplicate data or dismantle proven systems. They need unified observability that works with their existing stack, not against it. That’s why we built Unryo—to provide deep, AI-driven insights without forcing data duplication and data centralization.

Our observability engine connects directly to existing data sources—logs, metrics, topology, events, monitoring tools, custom data stores, network packet brokers and more—wherever they reside. It builds a dynamic, real-time mapping view of your entire environment, across all silos and infrastructure layers, uncovering dependencies between services, systems, and networks. This live model forms the foundation for intelligent correlation, automated root cause analysis, and scalable monitoring—without compromising flexibility, data ownership, or performance.

Nicolas Souty

Nicolas brings 25 years of experience deploying and creating OSS software products. He co-founded Watch4net, a software leader in IT monitoring, acquired in 2012. Prior to Unryo, Nicolas was VP of Engineering at EMC (now Dell), contributing to the M&R and SRM products.

Michel Foix

Michel is a serial entrepreneur and brings three decades of experience developing, marketing, selling and investing in enterprise technology companies. Prior to Unryo, he co-founded Watch4net, a software company that deployed solutions to the world’s largest enterprises and telcos.
